The Audi R8 was initially launched backwards in 2006, during the auto exhibit in Paris. Now, however, Audi has shown the Audi R8 V12 TDI concept, in visit to properly exhibit off the LeMans winner.
The changes that have been made to the sleek car go far, far deeper than one might think. They are more complex than simply putting in a shoehorned V12 diesel engine. The air intakes are larger and louvered in both the front and the rear. The integration of the tailpipes is cleaner as well.
As far as the interior goes, the Audi R8 V12 TDI concept has a very distinguishing steering wheel — there is a start and stop fix mounted on it. The sporty seats are evocative of a fast racer and there are more elements made of carbon fibers and aluminum.
