After working around its core technology of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and Horizontally-Opposed Boxer Engine, Subaru has moved towards the integration of a luxurious, high quality cabin atmosphere and an eye-catching sculpted body with the Hybrid Tourer. The sharp front end and grille could preview Subaru's new family face. The concept car features radical gullwing doors. It has two electric motors, one powers the car in low-speed acceleration and assists with acceleration, and the one up front is connected to a direct injection turbocharged gasoline engine. The Tourer is fitted with Subaru's Lineatronic CVT transmission.
